10 Women Graduate in Tailoring in Diocese of Birtamod

Believers Church Diocese of Birtamod held a graduation program on 5th August 2016 where 10 women trainees graduated after completing a six-month vocational training in tailoring.

These women were taught apparel designing including cutting, stitching, embroidery and dress designing skills at a sewing training center run by Bridge of Hope. These students are the sixth batch of graduates produced by this tailoring unit.

During the ceremony, certificates were presented to all the ten graduates and they were encouraged to make use of the knowledge and skills they have gained from the center to earn a living and provide for their families.

The graduates expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the church for providing them with the opportunity to learn a new skill which will help them to lift themselves out of poverty and improve their quality of life.
