Believers Church Uttarakhand dedicated 10 new toilets on 5th September 2014 for families lacking sanitation facilities.
Previously, the villagers used to defecate in open places because they lacked proper sanitation facilities. But for women and children, this was highly insecure. However, their income was insufficient to construct toilets on their own. Seeing their need, the church decided to construct sanitation facilities for them.
All the beneficiaries were happy and thankful towards the church for seeing their trouble and helping them. “Thank you so much for providing us a new toilet,” said Mrs. Shobha, a beneficiary. “Now, I can rely on myself without any worries.”
Believers Church promotes health and hygiene, prevents disease and preserves the environment by constructing sanitation facilities in developing areas.
